At Manchester Hall, we are wedding experts with the venue to match. We can cater for weddings both extravagant or intimate and each one will be unique, just like you. With 13 rooms to choose from, you can rest assured that there is one to suit you and your bridal party, all in elegant yet opulent surroundings.
Four of our rooms are ideally sized for the smaller occasion of up to 50 guests. With chandeliers, black marble fireplaces and historic memorabilia as decorations, small doesn’t have to mean understated. Choose from our Library, Study, Lounge and Drawing Room for your smaller ceremony.
Medium-sized, not mediocre, is catered for perfectly at Manchester Hall with another selection of rooms perfectly placed to take up to 160 guests. The ornate painted ceiling of the Museum adds the wow-factor (if anyone can tear their eyes away from the dress!) and the original Freemason chequerboard flooring and oak panelled walls and seating of Goulburn Lodge ensures your day will be conducted in historic elegance. The Gallery, with its original period windows which open to a balcony overlooking Bridge Street is light and bright with a classic regal quality.
If your day needs to accommodate larger numbers, we can take care of that for you here at Manchester Hall. Our Goulburn Suite can house up to 400 guests and our John Rylands rooftop terrace up to 500. It may sound a risky business to have an open-air event in notoriously rainy Manchester but if you crave an outdoor day, this is the perfect solution as you have the added security of a retractable roof to protect you from the elements.
The historic and perfectly-preserved unique architecture will provide a stunning backdrop to your special day, ensuring your photographs won’t look out of place in a bridal magazine.
