The Great Chippy Tea

Lisa Morton, founder of Roland Dransfield PR, launched the We Built This City podcast seven years ago and has achieved the amazing milestone of 100 editions. Amongst the Mancs she interviewed are Colin Shenton, Andy Burnham, Chris Oglesby, Mike Ingall, Sacha Lord, Kyle Walker, Bev Craig and Stanley Chow.

On Wednesday 4th February, Colin Shenton and Manchester Hall were thrilled to host a celebratory dinner for the 100 Mancs. Colin, Andy, Mike, Lisa and Bev all spoke and brought together the podcasts themes of community, investment, boldness and the relationship between the Council and the private sector which has achieved so much.

Lisa Morton celebrates 30 years of Roland Dransfield PR in 2026. She has devoted her professional career to promoting others but last night was an opportunity for the 100 Mancs to celebrate and promote all the hard work and success she has had in making Manchester the booming city it is today.

A huge thank you goes out to Lisa, her team and our fantastic team here at Manchester Hall for not only making the night a success, but keeping our incredible Manc spirit alive through community, connection, conversation and a passion for great hospitality.
